After finishing my bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, I wanted to do master’s in advanced technology. Now devices and production in getting smarter, and engineering behind is also becoming complex. Smart Factory, IoT, Additive Manufacturing and Industry 4.0 are the upcoming areas, and this course is the perfect combination of all these subjects. Mechatronics is an important field in engineering, manufacturing new devices and intelligent systems that have applications from a coffee machine to robotic systems.
In this course modules, we have case studies for most of the subjects and where we got the research and some practical topics to work on. We have worked on some case studies in co-operation with companies and got the hands-on systems and software. Also, all professors are approachable and help you in every stage of this study program. There are various opportunities to work in the university on different projects.
DIT give all the opportunities for the students for overall development. The language centre offers various language courses. The career service department helps us from building a resume and cover letter to prepare for interviews. They always arrange seminars to gain knowledge and share the experiences of professionals. Apart from this, there are many events which give us a chance to explore the region with day trips, and we meet new students from different nationalities. One course called Bavarian Culture provides the opportunity to learn more about Bavarian culture, food, festivals, and many more things. There are many such courses and events which makes the student life in DIT very Interesting, and student can develop their personal interests along with regular studies.
