Vita

Prof. Dr. Oliver Neumann studied technically oriented business administration at the University of Stuttgart. He then worked as an academic assistant at the chair of Business Administration and Organization at the same university, where he also received his doctorate. At the same time, he took on teaching assignments in the areas of project management and organizational design at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW).

From 2013 to 2017 he held various positions in the field of electromobility at the BMW Group. Most recently, as a project manager, he worked on concepts and measures for preventive quality management in production. From 2017, Oliver Neumann took over the role as senior project manager for product development projects in the Building Technologies division at Bosch, where he most recently headed the Project Management Office.

Since October 2021 he has held the professorship for the management of innovation projects at the Faculty of Applied Natural Sciences and Industrial Engineering at Deggendorf University of Applied Sciences (Deggendorf Institute of Technology). His research and teaching activities focus on the areas of project management, technology and innovation management and corporate management.
