Artificial intelligence (AI) now accompanies us everywhere in everyday life. Machines react to environmental influences in almost the same way as humans and make many things easier for us. Mobile phones recognise our face and Alexa answers our questions. There are also more and more areas of application in business life. Computers can collect huge amounts of data, generalise and generate knowledge from it - just like we humans do. This makes machine learning as a subfield of AI indispensable for the creation of forecasts, risk assessments and marketing strategies, for example. The areas of application are very diverse and the demand for experts lags behind the supply on the labour market.

Take your chance right now! In just seven short evening sessions over four weeks, you can earn your academic certificate Machine Learning in Python. Let our lecturer introduce you to the topic in a practical way using sample data sets and complete a short project work yourself.

  • Prerequisite is proven knowledge of the Python programming language.
  • In addition, basic knowledge of Pandas & Matplotlib is an advantage

Organisational Matters

Innovative learning concept:

  • The course concept combines short virtual course units in the evening and project work to be completed at home, ensuring maximum flexibility.

Course language:



  • The further education course lasts a total of 4 weeks and is designed on a part-time basis to meet the needs of full-time employees or students.
  • The virtual classroom sessions take place on six evenings on Mondays and Wednesdays from 7 to 9 pm.
  • The final project presentation will take place on 7 February 2022 from 7 - 8.30 pm.

  • The course will be held purely virtually.
  • Through the virtual face-to-face sessions, there will be a live exchange with the lecturer.


  • Presentation of the accompanying project work.
  • After successful project presentation you will receive the university certificate Machine Learning in Python.
