The graduation ceremony 2022 took place on 24 and 25 June 2022 at the campus Deggendorf.

The motto for this year's ceremony was CREATE NEW PATTERNS. We said our farewells to the graduates from September 2021 and March 2022.

In addition to the handover of  certificate by the deans, there were greetings from President Prof. Dr. Peter Sperber and Lord Mayor of Deggendorf Dr. Christian Moser. This year's award winners were also introduced and honoured at the graduation ceremony. At the beginning of the event each graduate received a gown as well as a doctor's hat and they may even keep the hat at the end. The highlight of the evening was the traditional hat toss including "Shift the tassel". Opening remarks were made by a student representative. Ulrike Sauckel, Head of International and Alumni Affairs and Chairwoman of AlumniNet e.V., together with President Prof. Dr. Peter Sperber on Friday, and the Vice President for Studies and Teaching and Scientific Director of the Centre for Further Education, Prof. Waldemar Berg on Saturday, will start the countdown.

The master class of media technology was responsible for the technical realisation of the celebration and again implemented a breathtaking show concept. At the following After Hour you could end the evening with music with your fellow students.
