The World University Rankings for Innovation (WURI) evaluate universities not only based on academic research, but also on their ability to develop innovative ideas and create practical impact. The focus is on creativity, entrepreneurship, and contributions that benefit society and students.
Founded in 2020, WURI has gradually expanded its scope to include universities from many countries. The evaluation is based on three main aspects: innovation, practical implementation, and impact. WURI provides a framework for presenting innovative activities at universities and encourages the exchange of forward-looking approaches beyond traditional academic indicators.
