Autochthone Architektur weltweit - Was wir von unseren Vorfahren lernen können.
Freilichtmuseum Massing, Steinbüchl 1, 84323 Massing
Over many centuries, people all over the world have adapted to the local climate using local building materials, resulting in sustainable, often regionally unique architecture.
Students of the Master's programme "Healthy and Sustainable Buildings" analysed examples from their regions of origin and carried out a life cycle assessment, among other things. Furthermore, the respective local climate was compared with the climate of Pfarrkirchen.
The exhibition "Autochthonous architecture worldwide - what we can learn from our ancestors" presents the exciting results from 30 different locations and their authors.
