Recognition of competences, study and examination credits for modules of a study programme in the Faculty of Computer Science.
This process regulates the application of §4 of the General Study and Examination Regulations APO of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
1) Recognition of credits already achieved
In the first semester in which you are enrolled in this degree programme, you can submit a (!) joint application fo have your competences, study and examination credits acquired at other universities, other degree programmes of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology or at non-university institutions credited.
Such an application must be submitted no later than on the last day of lectures of this semester in accordance with section 4, §4, sentence 2 of the APO. The application must be completed for the entire course of study. Later applications are not possible and will be rejected.
2) Recognition of credits yet to be achieved
Applications prior to a semester abroad (internal Learning Agreement) or alternative modules of the Virtual University of Bavaria must be submitted in good time before the planned acquisition of credits. The internal Learning Agreement ensures that upon return from abroad the credits achieved there are recognised.
It must be applied for before or at the same time as the application for the external Learning Agreement.
The further procedure is the same for both cases 1) and 2):
1) An application form has to be filled in and signed
The file with the signature (also scanned) is named AntragModulanerkennungen-<name>-<first name>-<subject abbreviation>.pdf
Replace <name> with the surname, <first name> with the first name and <subject abbreviation> according to the following list
If recognition of more than 7 modules is requested, a second page must be inserted.
Application for recognition Faculty of Applied Computer Science
2. a PDF document must be created for each module to be recognised.
The first page consists of the completed and signed file.
All evidence must then be incorporated into this PDF document, with explanations where necessary. Without complete supporting documents, the application cannot be processed. If it is not submitted in this form, it will not be processed. The lecturer who teaches the module to be recognised in the semester in which the application is submitted or the lecturer who supervised this module for the last time is responsible for recognition. If there are several lecturers, the module representative is responsible. According to the RaPO, recognition is generally only possible if no services have yet been rendered for this module. Each signed file is named Annex-<lfd. number>module recognitions-<name>->first name>->subject abbreviation>.pdf where the <lfd.number> corresponds to the number in the application.
3. if the recognition of n modules (n = 1, 2, 3, ...) is requested, these n + 1 PDF documents must be sent to the e-mail addresses of the ticket system given below:

Registration for the exams is processed via the Primuss portal of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology.
Students in the practical semester or semester abroad can also register for the exam in writing using the exam registration form.
You will also be notified of the deadline for examination registration by the study centre by e-mail.
Withdrawal from an examination is only possible in principle if the withdrawal is made within the specified period of notice of the examination procedure in the Primuss portal or in writing to the study centre.
In the case of course-related credits (e.g. AWP subjects) which take place before the examination period and for which registration is required, online or written cancellation must be made at least seven days before the respective credit.
If there is no effective withdrawal before the examination and the student has missed the examination for reasons for which he/she is responsible, the grade will be awarded incorrectly.
For the crediting of exam performances from home and abroad, an application form must be completed and submitted to the Student and Examination Office.
The exact examination times of the Deggendorf Institute of Technology (time on the respective date) and the respective aids will be announced here at least 14 days before the beginning of the examination period.
ATTENTION: The examination dates may change, so please check your examination schedule again shortly before the examination!
The examination schedules are currently being updated. If an examination schedule does not correspond to the status of winter semester 2020/2021, it will follow in the next few days.
