Fostering & Retaining Talent | Combating the Skills Shortage | Strengthening the Region Together

Take advantage of the many benefits of higher education programmes for your talent development!

Innovation and Relevance: By participating in further education programmes, your employees gain up-to-date, scientifically backed knowledge, enhancing their practical skills. This injects fresh, innovative ideas into your company, equipping your team to adapt to changing market conditions and technologies. This helps secure your long-term competitiveness.

Talent Development and Retention: Companies that support academic further education demonstrate their commitment to the professional growth of their key staff. This strengthens employee loyalty and enhances your company’s appeal, making it easier to attract new talent.

Employee Motivation and Satisfaction: Offering opportunities for further education shows your team that their professional and personal development is a priority. This sense of appreciation boosts both motivation and job satisfaction.

part-time vs. dual programme

A part-time degree programme is pursued alongside employment. Courses are held in the evenings, on weekends, and during compact block sessions, ensuring that students can focus on both their job and studies simultaneously. Part-time students typically have several years of professional experience at the start of their studies. This experience fosters in-depth professional exchanges between students and lecturers, adding significant value to the courses.

In contrast, a dual study programme combines academic studies with paid practical phases ("study with in-depth practice") or with vocational training within an organisation ("combined study"). The practical phases take place mostly during semester breaks and the internship semester, with the focus on work during those periods. During the semester, however, the emphasis is on academic studies.

invest & profit

Charging Tuition Fees

Tuition fees for part-time degree programmes and further education courses are charged to cover the costs of running these programmes. These fees are essential, as universities do not seek to make a profit from their part-time continuing education offerings but instead reinvest all resources into the quality and delivery of the programmes.

There are many benefits for you:

  • Small student groups: A limited number of participants creates a personal and intensive learning atmosphere.
  • High-quality classrooms: You will study in modern, well-equipped spaces that provide a comfortable and productive environment.
  • Highly qualified lecturers: Benefit from lecturers who have been specifically chosen for their exceptional qualifications and extensive practical experience.
  • Individual support and guidance: Both academic and administrative support are tailored to meet your personal needs.
