Why did I choose this study program?
I decided to pursue a master’s degree in mechanical engineering due to its comprehensive and versatile nature. The program's curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including Mathematics, Numerical methods, FEM, CAD/CAM, Fluid and Thermodynamics, which provides a strong foundation for a variety of career paths. Additionally, the program offers opportunities to specialize in areas of personal interest through the completion of a master's thesis, allowing me to develop my skills and knowledge further. Overall, I believe this program will equip me with the necessary tools to succeed in the diverse and exciting field of Mechanical Engineering.
What preparation is required for this program?
This program requires a good knowledge of Mathematics, analytical skills, basic programming knowledge, and engineering applications. For international students, a good level of German language proficiency in the Engineering field is also necessary.
Which computer programs do we need to know or learn?
The essential computer programs for this program include Python, Matlab and Simulink, programming with C language, and My SQL.
What I particularly like about my course of studies:
As a professional mechanical engineer, I appreciate the program's approach of connecting courses, enabling us to learn all requirements concurrently while analyzing mechanical problems from different perspectives of mechanical and mathematical sciences.
Why study at the DIT? DIT offers a high-quality education and complete facilities for learning, as well as a vast array of opportunities for student life, such as sports, language courses, parties, and cultural events. The beautiful nature surrounding the university is also a plus.
