Embracing differences and realising dreams
What Samuel likes most about the ECRI is that he constantly meets people from different nations. That´s why it is important to accept different attitudes, between each student and that they are oriented differently. Samuel thinks this is the most important step towards respect, honesty, empathy and the family-like atmosphere at the ECRI. Being part of an environment in which you can be yourself and feel comfortable without any judgements or prejudice makes him feel at home although he misses his family, friends and food from Ghana.
Samuel decided to study the Master ´s International Tourism Development because it was in line with what he was already doing at home, and he wanted to gain more knowledge. After graduation he wants to return home and implement what he has learned at the ECRI to improve the business he started before coming to
Pfarrkirchen.
Even though he plans to return home, Samuel is adamantly improving his German skills by watching YouTube videos. He would also recommend all new students to explore and improve their German language skills.
