From the bustling streets of Mexico to the international campus in Pfarrkirchen
Fernando comes from a large city in Mexico with a population of around 5 million people. Moving to the small town of Pfarrkirchen was quite a change for him. Sometimes he misses the big shopping centres with cinemas and other fun places that they have in his hometown. He also misses Mexican food, especially tacos. Although Pfarrkirchen is small, it has an international university with students from all over the world. Something that fascinates Fernando and that he would like to see introduced
in his hometown.
He describes the ECRI as an international campus with great professors. For him it´s a box full of surprises. What fascinates him most is that people from all over the world come here and how they work together. He believes that cooperation is essential for the world to develop. The professors contribute to this by trying to incorporate this into the lectures and make them practical. The university´s sports courses, especially volleyball, have helped Fernando to connect and interact more with his fellow students.
After graduation, he plans to work as an industrial engineer and would like to move to a bigger city as he is used to city life.
