What is the Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator?
The Bavaria Israel Partnership Accelerator brings together established companies from Bavaria with students and young professionals from Bavaria and Israel. Through a co-creation framework, multinational teams solve technological and business challenges brought in by the companies. Launched in 2015, there have been eight editions so far with over 30 company partners and over 130 participants.
Corporate partners from Bavaria and Israel present BIPA’s multicultural teams innovation with challenges relevant to their business, in fields such as:
BIPA 2020 will be different. The Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship and Tech7 teamed up with the Deggendorf Institute of Technology and OTH Regensburg to make this BIPA year the biggest and best so far. In our all-virtual program, thirty participants from Germany and thirty from Israel will solve challenges for Bavarian companies, virtually!
How does it work?
Students, entrepreneurs and young professionals from Bavaria and Israel form international teams, and engage in a 2-month program composed of a virtual kick-off workshop, a virtual acceleration phase, and final virtual presentations presented to the companies.
Teams are guided throughout the program by highly skilled mentors to create solutions for the proposed challenges.
An intensive kick off, held online by the Strascheg Center for Entrepreneurship, devoted to guiding the newly formed teams in the process to open innovation while addressing specific challenges of the participating companies.
Development of a tailored solution for the proposed company challenge supported by virtual mentoring and online collaboration tools.
Final presentations of the results and a virtual get together of everyone to celebrate a successful and fruitful BIPA 2020.
