Ask your Questions to our Student Ambassador Mostafa

Hello, I am Mostafa, a 29 years old Masters Student, currently studying Electromobility in 2nd semester.

Do you have any questions about student life and the study programme Electromobility? I would be happy to share my experience with you and give you an insight into life as a DIT student. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Why did I choose this study program?

Being fascinated with modern day Engineering Products from Airplanes, Cars, Manufacturing Machines, Computers as well as embedded systems (Tiny computers), After reviewing the Program content of Electromobility in THD, I found that so many courses offered in this program meets my passion of learning, not just that the content is the state of the art in each industry but it gives you a wide spectrum of knowledge in various fields. You don’t have to be stuck with specific Courses that you don’t like because in this Program there’s not just 1 direction of learning but 2 that you can choose from:

  • Simulation
  • Implementation

My personal tip to you:

Electromobility is a new field of studies, electric cars have been in development for 20 years, it is just now that the field is gaining traction, the hype is real considering that from 2030 onwards cars sold in Europe would be purely electric or zero emission. This field is booming, if there is anytime to act, it is now.

Good to know:

There are a few tips and tricks you could do to help yourself go through your master’s studies as smooth as possible, these includes learning a couple of skills:

  • Electronic Circuits Analysis and Simulation
  • Simulation Tools: Matlab/Simulink
  • Modelling / Control Theory Background
  • How to write a Scientific Report / Paper

That's what I particularly like about my course of studies:

Each and every course we do is actually supported by a practical project or lab work as well as reporting which in itself gives you an edge in the marketplace, being able to work with equipment, taking data, analyzing it and presenting it in a meaningful manner is all what it takes to score an SClass Job in top Companies.

Why you should study at DIT/ECRI:

I find Deggendorf particularly suitable for students because you have everything you need, you can literally buy all your needs (including high tech computers/Tablets/Study equipment) in a 15 minutes’ walk, The city is not particularly huge (in huge cities one goes through tremendous trouble, finding affordable accommodation as well as transportation), at the same time Deggendorf is not a small city at all, it is perfect. There are different support programs for students to insure students are both motivated as well as healthy so that they can give 100 Percent concentration for their studies. People actually care, and take action, which is most important. I would say Deggendorf is not just Practical for students but as well as fun, there is a lot of green areas and nature that I find inspiring.
