Ask your Questions to our Student Ambassador Cristóbal

Hi, I’m Cristóbal Pérez, 20 years old and a Industrial Engineering bachelor’s student in my 3rd semester.

Do you have any questions about student life and the Bachelor'programme Industrial Engineering? I would be happy to share my experience with you and give you an insight into life as a DIT student. I am looking forward to hearing from you!

Why did I choose this study programme?

Industrial engineering combines knowledge of mathematics, physics, statistics, economics and business management, which gives you a great perspective to be able to solve problems in the business environment. You learn to make decisions based on data and rigorous analysis, skills that are highly valued in today's market.

My personal tip For you:

  • Being passionate about your career
  • Be focused
  • Communication with the professors
  • Disposition to study

Good to know:

  • Basic physics
  • Programming languages
  • Mathematical knowledge
  • Basic administrative fundamentals

That's what I particularly like about my course of studies:

The bachelor's degree in industrial engineering at DIT is a very complete course, since it gives you all the necessary tools to be a great engineer in the future, and I love that, as in the future I will be able to use all the knowledge acquired here to get a great job.

That is why you should study at the DIT/ECRI:

You should choose this bachelor at DIT, because it offers everything a student wants to have, for example, green areas, a great city, many extracurricular activities, a beautiful campus that inspires you to study and of course a great academic level which will help you develop new skills. But what I admire most about DIT, is the support provided by the professors, as they are always available to help you with any problem.

My best experience during my studies:

My best experience during my studies is to be able to share my thoughts and my point of view with my classmates and teachers. This makes us grow as a person and gives us knowledge which, if we know how to handle it, can be very useful in the future.
