Navigating to new Horizons
When Gustavo moved to Pfarrkirchen he was a bit surprised to find out that supermarkets are closed on Sundays. In Honduras they are open all weekend. Nevertheless, he likes Pfarrkirchen and enjoys that it is surrounded by lots of nature and that it is a calm place.
He came to Pfarrkirchen because the Master´s programme Digital Health really tempted him. Gustavo believes that healthcare will shift even more to digital processes and technology in the next years. In Professor Chaltikyan he found someone who motivates him to give his best in his studies, and in his classmates he found people who helped and supported each other even before arriving in Pfarrkirchen. He has grown so fond of Germany by now that he would like to stay here for good, as it is a great country with lots of opportunities.
For Gustavo the ECRI is multicultural, stands for new friendships, knowledge and encourages a global mindset. He thinks that the students who come from far away to the ECRI are there because they believe in a globalized economy and that people who have the chance to have international mobility can exponentially expand their options in life.
