Building multicultural friendships
Imagine being on campus at lunchtime, sitting outside with other students and hearing the laughter and talking. This is Viola´s favourite time at the ECRI. It is the peaceful and friendly atmosphere created by the presence of students and professors.
She describes the ECRI as one of the smallest campuses in Bavaria, but calls it “the office of the United Nations” because of its multi-culturalism. Initially, she wanted to move toIndia after her studies, but has since changed her mind. Viola wants to stay in Germany if she finds a job in the digital health sector.
Viola´s main focus here at the ECRI lies on internationality and making new friends from all over the world. Even though she misses all the different foods from her home country Nigeria, she still enjoys living in Germany and the tranquillity of the rural area of Pfarrkirchen.
