  • Language: All lectures will be held in German only
  • Degree: Bachelor of Arts (B. A.)
  • Course language: German
  • Duration: 9 theoretical semesters, extra-occupational / relevant qualifications e.g. from training as an IT specialist, IT business management assistant, IT systems management assistant or IT systems electronics technician can be recognised if necessary, thus often shortening to 8 semesters
  • Start of Studies/Application Deadline: Start of Studies: Winter Semester (September); Application Deadline: until 15 July, in case of a qualified previous education an entry into the second semester (March) is possible
  • Time expenditure of the attendance phases: Classes are usually held on Fridays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.; there are approximately 10-12 weekend attendance events per semester; supplemented by virtual teaching (so-called blended learning); place of study: Deggendorf
  • Costs:  1,500 /semester + € 72 fee/semester

This course of studies is aimed at:

  •     Professionals who have completed their training in the IT sector and have at least 3 years' professional experience (unless they have a high school diploma)
  •     First-year students with university entrance qualification (Abitur or Fachabitur)
  •     Career changers who are interested in the fields of computer science and business administration
  •     Interested parties with a relevant professional qualification and subsequently at least 3 years of professional activity in the IT sector.
  •     Foremen, technicians, business economists and similarly qualified

Admission requirements

  •     Abitur or vocational baccalaureate
  •     Master craftsmen, technicians, business administrators
  •     Qualified professionals with two years of training and three years of work experience (specialised) (consultation and trial study required)

The necessary counselling interview for professionally qualified applicants is coordinated centrally by the further education centre.

If additional qualifications (specific further and advanced training) can be provided, these can be checked and, if necessary, recognised in individual cases on application.

Application Bachelor Business Information Systems

Applications are accepted all year round. The application deadline for the start in September 2021 is 20. August 2021. If you have missed the deadline, Peter Apfelbeck will be happy to provide you with information about available places.

Apply online via the Primuss application portal of the University of Applied Sciences for part-time degree programmes with the following documents:

  •     Tabular curriculum vitae (signed) with passport photo
  •     Copy of the university entrance qualification (official certification is only required upon matriculation)
    •     Abitur: Abitur certificate
    •     Vocational qualification: Training certificate
    •     Other financial statements: Certificate of the technician, master craftsman, specialist or business economist examination or comparable degree
  •     With professional qualification:
    •     Proof of professional experience (employer's confirmation or job reference)
  •     Letter of motivation (optional)
