Building international bridges at the DIT
For Emma, home is where the heart is, where you can relax and put your feet up, where the people who love you live. She has found this here in Lower Bavaria, where she lives with her family and works for the DIT.
Emma loves her job in marketing at the DIT as it involves a global perspective and the international aspect makes her job truly exceptional. In her opinion, it´s a constant journey of bridging cultures and creating opportunities for global collaboration.
Emma likes that the ECRI is an international and vibrant institution that brings together people from different cultural backgrounds, creating a dynamic atmosphere where personal and academic growth are encouraged. For her, the core value of the ECRI is “practised internationally”.
Even though she has been living in Germany for a long time, she still misses pubs. In England, they are hubs of social connection where you share cherished moments with
friends.
As an expat herself, she knows how important it is to learn German as quickly as possible. She recommends trying to master the language as it will not only help you in your academic journey but also accelerate your integration into the local culture and community.
