The Blended Intensive Programme (BIP) “Technology Transfer and Applied Research @ DIT” brings together researchers, teachers and staff from the HEROES Alliance working in or interested in computer science, cybersecurity, applied research and technology transfer.

At the heart of the BIP is DIT’s Technology Campus model, which connects applied academic research with companies and regional development. Participants will visit Technology Campuses, gaining insights into fields including AI, robotics, digital twins, simulation, digitalisation, big data, embedded systems, geoinformatics and cybersecurity.

The programme concludes with a workshop in which participants work together to explore how a Technology Campus-like concept could be adapted to other HEROES regions. Cultural activities in Regensburg, the Bavarian Forest and Passau provide additional opportunities for networking and exchange among participants.

Application deadline: 25 September 2026

Physical mobility can be supported by an Erasmus+ scholarship provided by your home university. Please contact the International Office of your home university for more information.
No fees for the BIP will be charged.
