Welcome@DIT

What is it?

The Welcome @ DIT programme is a student initiative aimed towards all students with refugee background studying at our university. German students meet up with students with refugee background to help them integrate and to support them with their life in our university. Events and trips are regularly scheduled.

Aims:

• Support with everyday student life
• Guidance in regard to life in Germany, specifically in Deggendorf
• Assistance in learning the German language
• Cross-cultural exchange
• Enjoy new experiences and have fun!
